At Flatland Psychiatry, we work with children as young as 6, teens, and adults facing a wide range of mental health concerns—including ADHD, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, PTSD, and substance use disorders. Many of our patients come to us because symptoms or stress have started to get in the way of living as their best self. Flatland Psychiatry was founded to bring specialized psychiatric services closer to home through both in-person and online therapy for North Dakota and South Dakota residents.

Medication Management

For some, medication can be an important tool in stabilizing symptoms and improving quality of life. We take time to explain options, answer questions, and monitor your progress closely.

  • Evidence-based prescribing with ongoing adjustments as needed

  • Regular 30-minute follow-up visits to ensure safety and effectiveness

  • Always combined with education, support, and a whole-person perspective

ADHD Kids

ADHD can be frustrating for both children and families. Is it simply distraction, bad behavior, or something more? At Flatland Psychiatry, we provide assessments that help parents understand what’s really going on and create a plan that works for your child.

  • Comprehensive evaluations to identify ADHD symptoms and rule out other concerns

  • Education for parents so you understand how ADHD shows up at home, school, and socially

  • Treatment plans that may include medication, therapy, and strategies for everyday life

  • Collaboration with schools when helpful, to make sure your child has the support they need

We believe every child deserves the chance to thrive—and every parent needs the support to guide them.
